when Google realizes what has been done, any rankings
achieved will be dropped...but do not worry, you will have
3-6 months of great placements and make lots of money. Then
you can remove those bad pages, send an apology letter to
Google and repeat the process again. I am sure that will be

Sense Of Urgency In Sales

Sense of Urgency is one of the most under rated impulse
factors. I have made an incredible amount of sales on my
ability to convey urgency alone! If you are able to portray
GENUINE urgency to your prospects, they will be compelled
to buy now. This is a basic psychological fact and to deny
it is just absurd. If you want to compete with the big boys
then you must master urgency in your sales pitch. There's
just no way around it.

Always be in a hurry! Now is the time to buy your product
not later. No you can't sit down and discuss this for an
hour with your prospect over a cup of tea. You have places
to go and buyers to see.

"You're going to miss out on this bargain if you don't take
advantage of this offer right now!"

"I have 35 people to get back to in the next few minutes."

"I'd love to stay and chat but I've got some buyers to get
back to right now and I don't want to be late."

Much like indifference, sense of urgency is not so much
something you have to say as it is something that you have
to portray. You want to make them "feel" as if now is the
only time because you have got to go.

For face to face selling: USE A LOT OF BODY LANGUAGE TO
PORTRAY URGENCY! I glance down at my watch a lot when I'm
talking to a prospect. It's my favorite way to portray
urgency. I also keep my car keys in my hand and wiggle them
a lot.

Notice how you get coupons in the mail and they have an
expiration date? That is because they want you to buy it
right away.

I can't even tell you how many times my wife tries to
convince me of why she needs to run to the store to spend
our money "right now".  She always says, "Honey it's the
last day." Yeah suuuure it is!

Info-infomercials and home shopping channels use the sense
of urgency by displaying a count down clock on the screen.
This clock counts down the seconds till the end of the show
or the end of this product promotion.

"We only have 3 minutes left folks, operators are standing
by to take your orders .... "

This is impulse building through the sense of urgency,
they're telling you straight out that this product
disappears from your television screen in exactly 3
minutes. Order now or suffer forever!

On an internet sales page there are many ways to portray
urgency. Some marketers even use it in the pre-headline
with something like "DO NOT HIT YOUR BACK BUTTON! This is
the ONLY time you will see this page." That statement uses
urgency AND fear of loss to captivate the visitor.

I've used the product countdown method on my sales pages as
well. That is when you tell everyone that you only intend
to sell 250 copies of this product and they only have 11:00
minutes to click the buy it now button. I then display a
countdown clock that will disable the purchase link when it
reaches zero.

Many people are afraid of using this sort of sales tactic
because it will cost them sales. That fear will continue to
hold you back from making the real money. Simply put...
Sense of urgency and the other 3 factors of impulse are
what separates the men from the boys in sales. If you're
afraid to use them well, I'm sorry to say that you just
can't hang with the big boys and your income will continue
to reflect that basic truth.

You may not think of it that way, but believe it or not, it

I'll grant that ebook creation isn't rocket science, but
one thing remains true regardless.   Your ebook and the
quality of its production will reflect on you.  While I'm
not talking about sinking thousands of dollars of artwork
into it, if you don't take the time to do some very basic
things, then what?

What kind of opinion would you have of someone if you
bought their ebook, and it had no formatting?  What if it
was written as though they had simply thrown text onto a
page in whatever font happened to be set at the time?  What
if there were misspelling everywhere?   What if the
information it contained was too generic to be of any use?
You did just pay money for it, and you're probably going to
be irritated and disappointed.

You might or might not return it, but if you're like me,
you'll stick it in the same directory where all of the
other mediocre ebooks go and never look at it again.  Then
you'll sigh and forget its seller existed, because they
were just one more drop in the large ocean of mediocrity
swishing around on the Internet.  You almost certainly
wouldn't buy anything else from them again, and wouldn't
think much of their upsells or being on their list.

Now, what if the person selling that ebook was you?  You
may well be making the very first impression a given
customer has of you with it.  You might be selling or
giving away a small one as a loss leader or trust building
tool so you could put someone on your list and sell to them
later.  Your back-end product might be expensive, so a lot
of resistance softening work would be in order.  In any
case, you need to make a good impression with your ebook
while you have the only chance you'll get at it.

Seriously, given all of this, isn't it worth taking the
extra time to:

- Add an ebook cover?
- Write an extra draft or two, or at the very least, give
it a thorough editing?
- Spell check?
- Make sure there was enough real, specific information to
make buying it worthwhile?

It's more important than you may think.  The next customer
who buys your ebook could be the next responsive member of
your list with plenty of disposable income.  They could be

Do you have the Virtual Edge with your business?  That
website that when people go there they say, Wow, I want to
work with that company.  If not, here are a few pointers.

Packing a Punch

Your website is the one thing that defines you and your
business and has the potential to draw the entire virtual
world to your products or services.  How important is it?
Well, I just recently had mine redone, and I immediately
starting gaining more clients. Also, because I added a more
professional edge to my site, I started getting clients who
were a higher caliber and who paid more, now it don't get
any better than that.

Here are a few pointers I think you might find useful:

 The First Glance - Hook Them!!  Keep in mind that
the first thing listed in the main body of your site should
be the best you offer.  The main thing you are bringing
people to the site to see.  It has to clearly state what is
it you want to sell, offer, feature, etc.  Go look at your
site, have you done it?

 Buttons That Tell & Sell - Those side and top
buttons-you need to clearly set up so that people want to
click on them and find out more.  Also, you need to have
these labeled correctly so they know what they are clicking
on to see.  That name is critical to making them take the
time to check out that page.  Bullet Power- Clients
often skim sites and rarely read through the entire site.
They look for items that interest them.  If you list
paragraph after paragraph, it won't get read. Think back,
do you read those paragraphs.  I don't! Therefore use
bullets or symbols instead. And try the slanted bullets or
a different bullet style for more eye appeal.

 Chose Your Words Wisely - Every word on your site
should say something important.  Absolutely you need to use
keywords, but you also need to use convincing words to sell
you and your business.  Don't get so caught up in keywords
that you lose the focus of the site. Write the text, edit
and delete, and repeat that last step over and over until
you have it just right.

 Convenience -- Clickable Links -- In the body of the
website itself, whenever you are providing a reference to a
site, make sure you have a clickable link, even if you have
it on the side panel.  People often won't take the time to
go look for the button, so make it easy for them. §
Colors Are Cool -- Match your colors to your business or
your book.  For example, for one of my clients who has a
science fiction book with an awesome green cover, I
designed the website to match.  Now you immediately make
the connection.

 Front Page Magic - Offer Something FREE - On your
front page, it helps to offer something for FREE.  I offer
a free booklet on obtaining clients in a pdf format.  How
about a free 10 ways to do whatever it is you do? That sort
of thing.  Let people long after they leave your site
remember you and want to come back to you with their money
and business.

 Contests - Come One- Come All -- Yes, we know they
work.  They get people to your site and that adds to your
traffic. But, here's a tip to make them really successful.
Follow-up each response with a personal e-mail.  Now, the
key is not making it a hard sale sales letter they will
never read. Instead, a "Hi, thanks for entering the
contests, I'm sorry you did/didn't win, but I'm ..." And
then give them something special, including a coupon off of
your services.   Make them feel special.

 Newsletter -- List your newsletter on numerous pages
if not all.  This is what is going to be reconnecting you
to your clients and potential clients.  The Eyes Have
It - I strongly suggest you have another friend or business
associate view your site and offer opinions.  It's
incredible what they can see that you don't as you are too
close to it.

 Eyes -- Take Two -- Right now, stop and check out
your site.  Have you looked at it from a potential client's
viewpoint?  What did you think?  Did it clearly define you
and what you offered?  Did it spark your interest?

edit, they played judge and sentenced what they write to

single time you want to write.

Yes, you don't even have to FEEL motivated to write.
Whenever you want to write something, just set up the timer
to within 5 minutes and you'll be writing out amazing
fiction or non-fiction in record time.

Well, guess how long did it take me to create an article
like this? I set the timer two times, which adds up to 10
short minutes and here you are reading an article perhaps
you'll be nodding when I ask, "Do you want to read more on
this?"

You want to write some of the most amazing words and sales
messages? Write fast! That's all you need. And by setting
up a deadline... you don't know what success, wealth and
fame you're set up for with your writing.

Amaze yourself. Take this advice and try it. Oh yeah,
remember to keep writing is easy a myth when people ask
too. When people ask if writing is easy, tell them it is
and if they ask how long did you take to publish that
hundreds-page book - even if it took 7 short days... tell
them you spent years...

They'll believe you. It simply sound and seem too good and
valuable.

way to reward yourself accordingly.

This is three problems you can encounter when you work from
home. The flip side of this is you are in control and can
have a huge impact on your own personal success.

When you're willing to set your office hours you'll find

Obviously the more you work the more your income will
increase, so you can pay yourself a weekly paycheck and

One of the things I often notice on websites is that I'm
not sure where to go or what to do when I arrive.  There
are those websites that are simply online brochures that
tell me all about the features of a product or service, but
don't ask anything of me.  There are other websites that
give me a headache, as they try to send me in too many
directions at once.  When faced with too many choices, I
become overwhelmed and ultimately leave the site without
taking any action.

How do you get your visitor to stay on your site and
convert to a prospect?  By presenting one clear call to
action on every page of your site.

Do you want the visitor to listen to an audio clip?  How
about signing up for your email newsletter?  Do you want
the visitor to call a toll-free number and listen to a
message? Would you like them to subscribe to your blog
updates? Do you have a free ecourse that you're offering to
your visitors?  Don't be shy about telling your visitor
what to do.  Most people don't want to have to think when
they arrive at a site (myself included), and are more than
happy to follow whatever directions you provide and actions
that you outline.

For owners of service businesses, I strongly believe that
the most important call to action that should appear on
your site is asking your visitor to get on your email list.
 This information becomes the gold in your marketing
funnel.  You begin to build a list in this fashion, and can
email your contacts on this list on a regular basis with
special offers, new programs, or just news updates.

The primary way that I capture someone's contact
information is through my email broadcast service, aWeber,
which offers me the coding for a subscription form that I
can place on any page of my website.   Once they have opted
in to my list, they begin to receive my email newsletter,
as well as emails about special offers, sales, and other
pertinent news about my business.

Too many times I hear my clients lament that they're
getting traffic to their websites, but the phone isn't
ringing.  I think it's pretty unrealistic for you to expect
a visitor to buy from you immediately upon "meeting" you
via your website or becoming acquainted with your service,
unless you offer a very highly specialized product or
service that visitors cannot obtain elsewhere.  Think of
your own buying habits.  I'll bet that you fall in the 7-10
"touches" category that marketing experts say is needed in
order to get someone to purchase what you're selling.  What
do I mean by a "touch"?  It could be an email newsletter
that you send out regularly, a direct mail postcard that
you send, a phone call that you make, or a lunch date that
you set. It takes roughly 7-10 contacts (touches) for
someone to begin to get to know you, respect you, and like
you enough to make the decision to buy from you.

If your offer is compelling enough, 1%-3% of the visitors
to your website will convert, or take the action you want
them to take.  What constitutes a compelling offer?  Once
upon a time, it was simply an invitation to subscribe to
your email newsletter.  However, it seems that everyone is
writing an email newsletter these days, and with the levels
of spam growing increasingly larger day-by-day, a free
email newsletter is no longer as enticing as it once was.
Instead, offer a free giveaway that provides a solution to
a problem that keeps your visitor up at night.  Make it
compelling enough that your visitors doesn't hesitate to
give you his name and primary email address.

To be effective, your call to action needs to prominently
displayed on your homepage, not hidden mid-way down the
page in a paragraph of text, or "above the fold", to borrow
an old newspaper term.  In this case,  your call to action,
should be the first thing a visitor sees when arriving at
your homepage.  In some cases, you may want to have the
call to action appear on every page, making it crystal
clear to your visitors what action you want them to take.

What compelling piece of information can you offer visitors
to capture their names and email addresses?  Once you have
that info, what is your plan to follow up regularly?
Creating a clear call to action on your website, along with
an effective follow-up strategy, will measurably increase

specific product or program. What I want to talk about is a
system that I feel is the best way to make money at home
online today. I think you will understand the reasons why I
say that as you read the article.

1. You obviously need a product, and I'm partial to
affiliate marketing as a way to find that, but I'm going to
assume that you will find something to sell that will make
you money. I'm not trying to minimize the importance of the
product, but that will be up to you to decide what you want
to sell.

2. You need a pre-sell webpage, or a landing page. Your
primary purpose is to provide a little bit of information
and get your visitor excited enough to give you their
contact information for future follow. You're not trying to
make the sale, but you're just trying to get their name and
e-mail address, or to get the click through to your sales
page.

3. Once you've gotten your visitors contact information it
needs to be sent via a sign-up form to an auto responder. I
personally like Aweber, but there are a number of quality
auto responders available online.

In your autoresponder you need to have a series of 5-10
prewritten messages that offer more information designed to
build your credibility. When talking about the product you
hope to sell in the initial first couple messages you may
not even want to directly identify the product or website
sales page.

4. Once a person has given your contact information you
should send them to your blog, which contains additional
quality articles about the niche that your product is in.
Blogging is extremely important today for attracting
traffic and building credibility.

5. The final thing you want to do is to consistently mail
to your list as you build it. The way to make money online
is to sell products. Many people miss this point, and they
spend all their time building relationships and this sort
of thing when in reality that is important, but if you're
not selling you are not making money.

What you're really doing here is creating a funnel for the
traffic that you are attracting.  As you can see the funnel
contains a quality product, a pre-sell webpage or landing
page, an autoresponder for future follow-up, a blog for
building credibility and search engine traffic, and a
strategy for selling at every chance you get.

The only other thing that we haven't mentioned is how you
get traffic to your funnel to start with. There are a
number of different ways to do this, including pay per
click advertising, article marketing, blogging and social
bookmarking, forum marketing, classified ads, e-zine
advertising, social networking, or just plain buying it.

The benefit of approaching how you make money online using
this strategy is you are create a long term approach to
your success. Having an e-mail marketing lists can pay off
for you for many years to come.

Blogging can create search engine bait that can produce
additional traffic for many years to come as well. Once you
master this basic system you can do it over and over for
any product that you want.

list. Co-reg stands for co-registration. This is where you
can hook with some other MLM owners and purchase the list
of leads, and then share it with your affiliates. If you
are able to get 5 MLM affiliates to buy a co-reg list with
you, you are paying only one-fifth of the cost.

A co-reg list is more like a general list. It is like
shooting an arrow in the dark - it might hit the target or
not. The main point here is to deal with a greater number
of leads, which increases your prospects of getting
potential customers.

But what you actually need for furthering your business is
an opt-in list. An opt-in list is a list of only the people
who are genuinely interested in your business. These are
people who have much greater likelihood of growing your MLM
network.

There are various ways in which you can use a general
co-reg list to build a specific opt-in list for your MLM
business. One way to do this is to communicate with your
co-reg list with autoresponders. These become easy because
you will probably have thousands of people on your co-reg
list and it is virtually impossible and impractical to
communicate with each of them individually. Your
autoresponders will be your channel to provide them with
interesting information that can end up in them becoming
members of your MLM network.

One more way is to provide the people on your co-reg list
with some free offers, which can make them more interested
in your network. You can provide them with a report or an
eBook that can make your business appear more credible to
them, and can also consolidate your position as an MLM
leader.

Just getting a co-reg list is not enough. This is a shared
list, and you have to make your individuality felt in them.
You have to use various tactics like those described above
to build your opt-in list from this co-reg list. That will
ensure a better conversion of your prospects into customers.

keys to success in your home business is "in the list".
Every training course will tell you that and every sponsor
or mentor will preach this to you. But just how do you do
that?

Well first you have to generate traffic to your site...and
that's another entire training course. For now let's assume
that you have an interested prospect. He or she is looking
for something similar to what you sell but there just not
quite ready to buy.

If you capture that name and email address and then do
nothing with that while they are contemplating a purchase,
you can be assured they will go elsewhere and you stand a
very good chance of loosing the sale. So how do you keep
them interested in YOU?

Email -it's a perfect way to stay in front of your
prospects.

There are many new home business owners that fail to follow
up with these prospects for several reasons; one they
simply do not know how and for another they don't know what
to say or how to approach them.

So here are a few guidelines to follow to ensure a good
email follow up series.

Start with a thank you page. Let your customer know that
you received their request and reinforce what they have
purchased or subscribe to. It is also appropriate here to
ask for a confirmation to ensure compliance with any anti
spam laws.

If you are not going to ask for a confirmation then provide
a link to the product or service. Make sure you have them
white list your email so that future correspondence does
not end up in the junk.

Now your email follow up series begins. The most efficient
way to manage this is by using an autoresponder product. If

get more information. Put simply they automate the sending
of your emails.

The first email should be sent immediately after your
customer took action. Welcome them again and re-assure them
that they have made a good decision in purchasing your
product or service.  Again give them access to any download
links and ask them to keep this email for future reference.

In the second email you should start with mentioning the
product or service again and give a bit more detail on what
they can expect from you in the future. This is a great way
to start branding yourself and building your relationship
with them.

In the third email you can begin to recommend other
products or services you offer as well as other affiliates.
If you start too soon pitching a product you run the risk
of offending your new customer.

The forth email should be nothing more than an offer to
assist them in anyway you can. Give them multiple ways to
contact you and make VERY sure you let them know they are a
valued customer.

Finally continue with this format for -well forever if you
like or until they unsubscribe. It is very important to
balance help and knowledge with sales offers. Keep all your
correspondence casual not stuffy, and be honest. This is
all about relationship building.

list of responsive buyers any top marketer will envy.

The "Pie in the Sky" Marketing Tool and method consists of
using a combination of four active and four passive
marketing techniques to create a very powerful, yet
easy-to-implement promotional campaign system.

These days, whether you have predominantly an offline or
online business, it makes good sense to use both online and
offline promotional strategies.  Combining online and
offline activities will enable you reach more people; some
of them whom you would never have reached online, and

So, what is an "active" promotional technique?  It means:

tactic.  You can create your own "pie" by following these 3
easy steps:

1. Brainstorm and write down a list of tactics you can use
to reach your market niche.  Keep in mind the:

- Cost

- Ease of implementation, and

- Potential success of each tactic you write down

Narrow the list to the most feasible marketing tactics,
using the above-listed criteria.  Choose eight marketing
tactics.

2. Take out a sheet of paper, and draw a large circle in
the center.  Draw 4 lines to create 8 slices.

3. Write one marketing tactic in each slice of the pie.

When you fill in each of your pie slices with a tactic, be
sure to include tactics (marketing programs) that speak to
your strengths.  In other words, if you don't like public
speaking, perhaps instead you can interview important
people and write about what they said.

Once you have identified the chosen marketing tactics you
will use to reach your market niche, you will then attach
an implementation schedule to them.

For example, if you want to publish an e-Zine, you may
decide to send it out bi-weekly.  Or, maybe you decide to
give a free talk one time per month to your market niche.
Get the picture?

The key to marketing success is consistency.  You can't
expect to do something once or twice and achieve results.
Implement your chosen promotional techniques on a daily and
weekly basis, and watch your income soar!

experienced together with the solutions and hence the
features you should be looking for when shopping for the

1) Spam

Arguably the biggest problem of all is the risk of spam
being sent by one of your site visitors, or worse, a
hardcore spammer abusing your script around the clock.

Innocent individuals can get frustrated, spam complaints
can be placed, your domain and/or IP can be blocked and
your hosting account can be closed without warning.

The best you can expect is to be told to take down the
script you spent all that money on buying and time on
setting up.

The worst doesn't bare thinking about.

So look for a script that actively controls spam. Perhaps

there *are* unblockable popups out there, they require
adding considerable code to every page of your site where
you want the popup to appear, the installation of which
rapidly becomes a long and boring process.

4) Motivation Of Your Visitors

You need to make it *easy* to give your visitors a *reason*
to use your form. By doing this you will greatly increase
the use of your form and hence it's effectiveness. But you
also need to make it foolproof so people don't just email
themselves to get to your thankyou page and download
whatever freebie you're offering.

The script should easily track referrals and allow you
flexibility in what you offer to your visitors and how they
get it.

5) Statistics

As any seasoned online marketer knows the key to success is
to track everything possible on your site. Knowledge really
*is* power, and the more statistics you have on how
visitors interact with your form the better you can make
it, and hence the more new visitors you'll generate.

So look for a script that offers a reasonable level of
statistics to really make the most of your investment.

Step 2.) Create Your PAD File

PAD stands for Portable Application Description. It's a
simple XML file that you give to any potential publisher so
they have all of your program's information. But don't
worry. You don't need to know anything about XML. Just use
the free PADManager tool available at
http://padmanager.org/. There's no learning curve, the help
files are great if you get stuck (which I doubt.) Here's
all you really need to know:

a.) When you fill in your company information, use your
most important keyword for the "Company Name" field.

b.) When filling in the "Product Name" or "Software Title"
field (depending on the PAD generator you use), use your
second most important keyword.

c.) When writing the various length descriptions, write
just like you would a Web page description, full of well
placed keywords throughout the text.

Tips A and B above are critical! Using your keyword this
way forces the download sites that use anchor text (most of
them) to make your main keywords your anchor text. Most
will use your company name and some will use the software
name.

Step 3.) Submit Your Software and PAD File

Submitting your PAD file is easy but can be time consuming.

are doing their own SEO. Many web guru's started by

once worked, now are less effective. New types of promotion
like social bookmarking are growing in importance. It is

that play into being indexed including age of the site,
duplicate content (copy and pasting content, or cookie
cutter affiliate websites), Java script rather than HTML
links, bad site layout (too many sub-directories),long
dynamic URL's with special characters (question marks or
any other database characters, #, &, *, !, %) known as
"spider traps," or orphaned pages.

2. Do Your Keywords Homework Thoroughly

Keyword research is the most important step in the process.
If you get this wrong you could be wasting all of your time
and effort promoting your site. Start your research with
the broadest terms to describe your product or service.
Utilize the keyword research services that are available to
narrow the terms and find variations of those terms. I like
to use Google AdWords, Keyword Discovery, and Wordtracker.

Your goal is to find phrases that are highly searched and
optimize your site like the top sites in those keywords. If
the keyword is not used much, then you will not draw much
traffic by using them. Remember to use the most focused
keywords to optimize; because, general terms will be much
harder to gain in rank, and the traffic you get will be
less relevant.

3. Get In-bound Links to Your Site

There are many ways to get links to your site, some
traditional and others not so traditional. This may be
intimidating at first, but it is very important for your
SEO and PageRank. Google counts a link as a "vote" for your
website when calculating PageRank. The more links you have,
the more votes you have, and the higher your PageRank. Much
like any popularity contest, not all votes are equal, links
from higher ranking pages count for more than lower ranked
sites.

If you have taken the time to create unique original
content, you are already miles ahead of much of the
competition. If you are fortunate and create something very
unique, you may get many links, however, most webmasters
won't just link to your site for no reason.

You can try trading links, but the effectiveness of link
exchanges is decreasing, and if you are in a highly
competitive market they won't help much. Recently, paid
links have been looked down upon by Google, so save your
money. Volumes could be written on linking strategies, but
for the beginner, stick to these techniques to start.

Issue a press release and include a link to your site.

Comment on blogs, public forums and articles with content
related to your site.

Put links on your other sites leading to your new site, or
have a friend link to your site.

Submit articles relating to your niche and include a link
in the resource section to your site.

Use the many social bookmarking and social media outlets to
link to your site.

4. Ride The Social Media Wave

Online communities developed for networking and socializing
is at an all time high. Social bookmarking sites like
StumbleUpon, Del.icio.us, Technorati and others allow
members to store their favorite sites and share them with
others online. These sites can also be used to create
"buzz" about your own site.

If you are trying to generate sales from your efforts, then
you should avoid promotional hype on these sites. The
social sites are so powerful because they are based on the
public's interest. If you don't have anything unique or
interesting to share, these sites will not work for you.

Don't be shy on the social sites about the site you are

Impressions are the number of times the banner or text link

The Pain of Procrastination and Fear in Network Marketing and MLM

We have all experienced this at some point in our careers,
either in our real job or network marketing and MLM lives.
I propose that this experience of procrastination and
related fear go hand in hand and produce psychological pain.

Fear!  The gurus will tell us it is defined as False
Expectations Appearing Real.  Speaks for itself don't you
think?  Consciously we all know that in our lives
experiences, when we face our fears they are not really as
bad as we originally thought; thus, false expectations
appearing real.

Ok Craig.  What does this have to do with procrastination
or even network marketing and MLM?  Great question and I
don't mind sharing my thoughts with you about this.
Procrastination is the putting off of tasks that we don't
really wish to do, are distasteful, and especially the
things we are afraid of attempting.  Cold calling or the
calling of leads would be a great example.

You know how that phone call involves picking up that
400lb. receiver, dialing a strange number, with the unknown
on the other side?  OMG!  Do I really know what to say?
Maybe no one will answer and I will have dodged that
bullet.  What if someone does answer and then I will need
to actually talk to them?  I know I only have two to four
seconds to make a positive impression.  How will I posture
myself?  Can I posture myself?  What the heck does that
really mean anyway?  With all of this involved we just
completely put off, procrastinate, making any phone calls
for that night.

Now the pain sets in.  We've just gone through all of this
self emplaced anxiety and decided not to call anyone so we
procrastinate for just one more day.  Oh!  How that makes
us feel like we've once again failed in our mission.
Another defeat in working our home based business.  My
gosh!  I'm never going to make this business work.  Maybe
I'll just go read some more motivational books.  Yea!
That's the ticket!  Then I won't have to think about this
failure.

Do you see the process here?  Very simple but very
devastating at the same time, right?  First we have the
idea of having to call leads, which we all know will help
grow our business.  Fear sets in and all of those fearful
thoughts run through our head.  At the same time the pain
of the fear sets in and our imagination exaggerates the
consequences, we start feeling the pain of anxiety and then
we decide to just put it off for right now.  We always tell
ourselves we'll be better up for it tomorrow especially
after reading more motivational books.

Look at this!  Who are we all fooling?  We're fooling
ourselves with this thinking.  Is it now clear how
ridiculous this is?  Logically, we all know this is just
another part of negative thinking; stinking thinking which
then becomes attitudinal sclerosis.  Then we quit!

Quitting is not an option!  We have our aspirations, our
dreams and visions are on the line here.  We all know what
strong financial potential network marketing and MLM have
to offer.  Like no other business model in the world.  We
can better our situation and help others do the same!

So what do we do Craig?  Simple!  This is where personal
growth comes into play in this business.  We have all heard
your business will only grow as much as you do, right?
It's true!  Now is the time to get with your sponsor or
upline, discuss the situation, do three way calls and just
listen in on what they say.  Take good notes; be very
attentive to what is said and how it is said.  When talking
to leads there is a reason for everything and the goal is
to move them closer to the line and collecting a positive
decision. Fear, false expectations appearing real.
Procrastination, putting off what we don't want to do and
know we should do.  All lead to feelings of failure, lower
self esteem, feelings of not being worthy of our own goals
and aspirations..................  Phooey!  Com'on and get
with it!  This is something that can and will be overcome
by those of us motivated enough to disregard these thoughts
and feelings and move forward.  It is a temporary challenge
or bump in the road.

The good news is that we can all get past this fear,
procrastination, and anxiety that it brings.  I think Nike
has nailed it on the head.  When faced with personal
challenges, "just do it!"

One of the best time-saving strategies I've implemented is
my client conversion system.  You know the drill; a
potential client comes along and emails/calls you asking
about your services.  You spend time responding, maybe even
putting a detailed proposal together, and then you never
hear from them again!  Not even a thank you for your email!

This is one area that's a huge time drain for solo service
professionals, but one that is so important - you need
paying clients so you have to spend time responding to them.

What if there was a way you could respond to clients yet at
the same time not waste hours of your precious time on this
activity only for it to result in never hearing from said
client again?

Well, there is! And I'm going to share it with you in this
article by giving you my three steps on how to create your
own client conversion system.

Step One - Capture Their Name/Email Address

If a client comes along and they're not quite ready to work
with you, you need to have a way of capturing their details
on your website so that you don't lose touch with them -
that way they'll get to know more about you and your
services, and when they are ready to work with you, you'll
be right there!

You do this by giving away a free taste of what it is you
do.  This could be a report, audio, mini ecourse, or some
other type of freebie that is given away automatically in
exchange for them giving you their name and email address.
This is known as building your list.  Once you have your
list in place stay in touch with them regularly through
publishing an ezine.

Step Two - Have A Defined Process For Working With New
Clients

Look at what you currently do when you receive an
email/phone call from a new client.  Write down all the
steps in that process, and come up with ways as to how it
can be systemized.

For example:

* Do you find that potential clients are asking the same
questions again and again?  If so, set up a FAQ (Frequently
Asked Questions) page on your website that answers all of
these questions.  (Hint:  this could also be your free
taste that the client will sign up for.)

* Do you require that all new clients have a telephone
consultation with you beforehand to ensure that you are a
good fit for one another?  How can this process be
streamlined?

* Or, do you require a potential client to fill in a
questionnaire prior to speaking with you on the phone?

List everything that you currently do and come up with a
system for streamlining the whole process.  You could also
include elements that you would like to do but haven't yet
implemented.

Step Three - Put Your Client Conversion System In Place

Now that you have documented the process for handling
enquiries you need to put your system in place that will
allow you to handle client enquiries in the most
time-efficient manner.

This is the system I use and recommend, and one that will
filter those enquiries for you:

* On your website tell clients what your process is for
working with new clients, i.e. contact me to schedule your
complimentary client consultation.

* Have a contact form on your website that client's can
fill in when they're ready to schedule a complimentary call
with you.

* Create an email template to respond to those clients who
would like to schedule a complimentary consultation.  You
can also use this template for those email enquiries you
get, or as a script for a phone enquiry.

* If you have a series of questions that you would like
answers to before your call with your client put these
together into a Pre-Consultation Questionnaire which you
can send to your potential client ahead of your call.
(This again is a good way to filter the serious from the
not-so-serious clients - the not-so-serious clients will
not want to spend their time filling in a questionnaire
prior to your phone call.)

* Create a document/email template for your questionnaire -
put it in a format that is easy for the client to email
back to you.

* When they respond to you to schedule their call attach
your questionnaire, confirm the appointment, tell them when
they need to return the questionnaire by (24 hours before
the call is a good timeframe) and tell them what number to
call you on.

Having a process like this in place will filter the serious
from the not-so-serious clients, saving you a huge amount
of your time and streamlining the whole client conversion
process.

Remember:  You are the expert at what you do.  Your clients
are coming to you for your expertise, so lead them with
your systems.  Tell them what your processes are.  Let them
work to your systems.

Are you thinking about starting your own home business? Are
you mentally prepared to operate as a home business
entrepreneur? Your mindset is as important as the product
you sell.

Why? If you have a poor mindset all the tools in the world
will not help you become successful on the internet. Tools
are good for strategies and techniques and can help you
build a viable business. But without a positive mindset you
will not be as prosperous as you could be.

So what is the right mindset?

You must know you will succeed. You focus on your outcome
not the past. Many new home business owners focus too much
on the failures within their business. Every failure should
be viewed as an opportunity to learn. Accept it and move
on, after all there's nothing you can do about it now, so
learn from it.

You must be willing to do whatever it takes to reach the
success you're dreaming about. That might mean doing
something you feel is a waste of time or you don't
understand how you'll really benefit from it.

A lot has been written about the Law of Attraction. If you
don't know about this you should study up on this law. The
law states "Like Attracts Like". If you think positive
thoughts you will attract positive results. If you think
negative thoughts you will push away the things you really
desire.

One aspect of the law is you must visualize your success.
Create a list that defines the biggest goals in your
personal life and your home business, and then visualize
what it will be like when you have them, be detailed in
your visualization.

An example is you might want to own a new home on a beach
in Maui. Find a picture of the home on a beach that makes
you drool when you look at it, then post it in your office
where you can see it very day. Visualize in great detail
how it looks when you walk around in it, how you feel
sitting on the porch looking out on the ocean...OK the rest
is up to you.

Make a list of your goals place them in special places all
over your home and office and review them every day. Read
them in the morning when you get up and in the evening
before you go to bed. If you find yourself feeling blue
during the day, read your goals. This will make you happy
and change your emotional set point.

This is developing your mindset for good things. When you
begin to take massive action to achieve those goals you
will begin to see positive things happening in your
personal life and in your home business.

You may think this advice sounds silly and may want to skip
this step in building your home business. But don't. If you
talk to any successful entrepreneur they will tell you
their success is because they believed in themselves.

Making your home page copy clear, concise and relevant

Coaching a client last week, I was reminded of a trap it's
very easy to fall into when it comes to writing copy for
your website. It's that old re-inventing the wheel thing.
You can talk to people about what you do, but when it comes
to writing it down, you lose the words. What I want to know
is... who said you need to find different words in the
first place?

Yes, writing website copy can be daunting. And the
challenge is very often one of how to condense everything
you want to say into bite-sized chunks. Most coaches,
though, have already worked on this when you've crafted,
practised and polished your elevator speech. So even if it
doesn't feel like it, you do actually have a head start!

Let's take a quick look at what needs to go on your home
page. You'll probably spot rather a lot of similarities to
your trusty elevator speech...

** The important basics of your home page copy

First of all, you need to make it clear who you work with -
who falls into your target market. If you work with single
mothers, for example, say it up front. That way the website
visitors who fall into your target market will be attracted
to read more. Those who don't fit will move on elsewhere.
And that's just fine.

The second really important piece of content for your home
page is a brief description of the results that you
deliver. These are, of course, precisely the results that
your potential future clients are looking for. By being
clear and concise again, you will catch the eye of
potential future clients and encourage them to read more.
Others who don't fit the bill will just surf on by. And
that, again, is just fine.

The other vital piece of the jigsaw is your sign-up box
where you ask visitors to leave you their name and contact
details. However interested they are in what you offer, if
you don't capture these details from them, they may as well
have surfed on by. And that really isn't fine at all!

** Strangely enough, it's not about you!

So many coaches get all hung up about 'selling themselves'.
But you know what? You don't actually have to do that. What
sells best is copy that's about the client, not about you.
Follow the guidelines above and you'll have a statement
that says something like:

'Coaching for single mums who want to earn a living working
from home' Or:

'Are you a corporate professional looking for a way out? We
specialise in helping you to step off the treadmill, take
control of your life and plan a new future.' Or:

'I work with artists and writers to make creative output a
practical and financially viable reality.'

Take your basic elevator speech and you'll probably find
that it follows a similar formula. The temptaion is always
to add in a huge chunk about HOW you achieve the results.
You know, all that stuff about coaching!

But remember that - before all else - your website visitors
want to know whether you work with people like them.
They're not that interested in how you do it. Later on,
maybe, yes. But not at the point where you're making your
first impression and they're weighing up, at the speed of
light, whether to hang around on your website or not.

So begin with your ideal client in mind and write your home
page just for them. Imagine they are standing in front of
you and you are answering their questions. Tell them
exactly what they want to know and do your best to avoid
coaching terminology. Keep the sentences short, use
relevant sub headings and bullet points and before you know
it... hey presto! A clear, concise, relevant and
client-attracting home page of your very own.

Last night I was watching the local news, and amidst all
the typical doom and gloom stories the media loves to
share, there was a fascinating interview that took place.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP - the
way-over-made-fun-of guys in red with funny looking cowboy
hats) blatantly egged on the Hells Angels. The RCMP officer
being interviewed actually blamed the Hells Angels on
pretty well all of the crime in Canada

You name it... they are to blame.

Now, I don't condone what the Angels do, but I will say the
RCMP are absolute morons to believe crime would disappear
if the Hells Angels disappeared too.

There has always been crime and there always will be crime,
it's one of the facts of life. There will always be people
who take advantage of others, and those who thrive off the
underground money making activities.

The Hells Angels did something VERY surprising they went on
television too. They actually asked a local Calgary News
reporter for an interview to counter this officer's claims.

#1 - for them to voluntarily give a TV interview is
extremely rare.

#2 - they are upset

#3 - they publicly stated they are upset - and they issued
a challenge to the RCMP. Prove to the rest of the world
that the Hells Angels are completely responsible for 100%
of the crime in Canada

And prove to them that if the Angels were to disappear,
crime would too.

They made the RCMP's claim look as ridiculous as it is.

Yes, The Hells Angels do commit crimes they never said they
don't. But to go on national TV with a ridiculous claim
like this is a challenge and the Hells Angels countered the
challenge.

So what does this have to do with advertising and marketing?

Lots!

Robert Allen issued a challenge to the skeptics  put him in
a city he doesn't know for 72 hours with only $100 to his
name and he would own at least one piece of property after
72 hours with NONE OF HIS OWN MONEY.

A big challenge to prove his system works.

And he delivered; actually he bought 4 properties in 72
hours with no money down.

He became massively famous by throwing down the gauntlet
and challenging the media.

How can you use the challenge technique?

Challenge your customers to provide the best video
testimonial of the benefits they have received from using
your products (all kinds of corporations are using this
idea now). You will get incredible video footage you can
use in commercials, advertising, marketing campaigns, lead
generation campaigns, etc.

Challenge your competitors to a dual. Southwest Airlines is
famous for major media challenges and EVERYONE benefits.

Challenge your suppliers to help you decrease your supply
costs, best proposals win a year long exclusive contract

Challenge your employees to come up with one new business
improvement idea a week. The top ones can be implemented by
the person recommending them, and are rewarded with status,
even prizes and publicity.

Challenge the media with a big claim you make and that you
will prove that claim once and for all in front of the
world.

Find a challenge and try it out.

Do You Own - And Control Your Domain Name? You May Be Surprised!

All too often, website owners are lax in nailing down
ownership and control of valuable domain names, and as a
result, are often required to litigate these issues costing
them thousands. The case of Dawson v. Brandsberg
illustrates these costly mistakes and how to avoid them.

Dawson v. Brandsberg - The Facts

The dispute was between a website operator and developer
regarding rights to a domain name that consists of the
operator's name: "robertedawson.com". Plaintiff Dawson and
his real estate firm (the website operator) hired Defendant
Brandsberg (the website developer) to develop a website. A
key fact is that there was no written agreement regarding
possession or use of the domain name.

Other important facts include:

*  Plaintiffs requested Defendant to register the domain
name at issue;

*  Defendant developed the website associated with the
domain name; and

*  Plaintiffs paid for the initial registration of the
domain name, plus development, hosting, and maintenance
fees for the website.

Eventually, the business relationship soured, and the
Plaintiffs sought to transfer the domain name and the
website to another internet service provider. The Defendant
refused to transfer the domain name and the website, and
essentially held the domain name hostage.

Dawson v. Brandsberg - The Decision

Dawson brought suit against Brandsberg in the U.S. District
Court in Virginia under the Cyberpiracy Provisions of the
Lanham Act,Section 43 (d), 15 U.S.C. 1125(d). Dawson v.
Brandsberg, 2006 WL 2915234 (W.D. Va. Oct. 10, 2006).
Plaintiffs argued that the federal cyberpiracy prevention
statute was applicable, and that it protected the domain
name and imposed liability for a bad faith registration
with the intent to profit from the registration. Plaintiffs
also argued that it had a non-exclusive, implied license to
use the domain name, given that Plaintiffs had paid for
registration, development, hosting, and maintenance of the
website.

Defendant Blandsberg argued that:

*  Plaintiff's name was not a proper trademark because it
was not distinctive at the time of registration of the
domain name,

*  Defendant had registered the domain name and developed
the website with the intent to sell it to Plaintiff at a
later date, and

*  Plaintiff had no copyright or implied license in the
website.

Defendant Blandsberg filed for a motion to dismiss most of
the counts of the suit. The Court ruled in favor of
Plaintiff Dawson denying the motion. The Court seemed to
rely heavily on Plaintiffs' arguments regarding the implied
license, stating "Even assuming that Brandsberg created the
website, if Plaintiffs have no license to use the website
or domain name, the creation would be valueless".

Conclusion: Lessons Learned

Don't rely on oral agreements; get it in writing! Provide
not only for ownership of the website, but also of the
domain name.

Provide that your domain name be registered in your name,
not in the name of the vendor.

Also, note that control over the domain name is very
important, and control goes with knowledge of the ID and
passwords to the domain

name account with the Registrar. So to maintain control, be
sure to change the password so that you are the only one
who has access to the administrative controls for your
domain name at your Registrar's site.

Is your MLM underpaying you?

Ultimately, the key to achieving your desired income
depends on the compensation plan of the company you are
involved in. Even though your income will get larger the
more you refer and the larger your organization grows, the
company just may be keeping most of it.

For example one distributor may be earning ten thousand per
month with ten thousand members in their organization and
another distributor could easily be making ten thousand per
month with two thousand distributors in their organization.
Now this is only an example, but as you can see the second
distributor has five times less the size of organization
and is making just as much. Yet another distributor may
need even less...how is this possible? They are in
different companies with different compensation plans. You
would not know which one is you unless you know the
compensation plan of your company.

All MLM companies are here to make money. The question is
how much are they willing to reward the distributors for
their hard work? Think of deciding which MLM company you
will work hard for the same as looking for a job. Would you
settle for ten dollars per hour instead of fifty dollars
per hour? I think not!

Over your course of network marketing you will come across
many companies. I can not go over each and every possible
compensation plan but I can give you some tips of things to
watch out for. Some companies are geared towards rewarding
heavy hitters, those who will sponsor many, and that is at
the expense of the part-time distributors. Other companies
are simply looking out for themselves, and they simply
won't reward members much at all. Lastly, there are a few
that have compiled very rewarding compensation plans
because they know that if their members are successful then
they will be too, and so they offer very generous pay
plans.  Here are some things to consider:

1) Are there qualifications? If so, how hard are they to
achieve?

If there are a lot of qualifications in order to earn
income, or if these qualifications are hard to achieve then
this is the type of plan that hurts new marketers or
part-time distributors. It may be rewarding to heavy
hitters, but the majority of the people simply won't
qualify for that type of income. Is their breakage or
rollup that goes to the company if distributors don't
qualify? These types of rules only line the pockets of the
company or heavy hitters. Look for a plan that has few
qualifications that are easy for anyone who works the
business to achieve.

2) What is their percentage of payout?

This may not be easy to figure out in some cases, but if
you are able to get a good grip on the pay plan you can see
the numbers and find the percentage of revenue that the
company pays its distributors. Most will pay 40-50%. This
is not bad, but I would not say it is good either. This
type of percentage is fine for a side business that you
have added to your portfolio to create multiple streams of
income. For your primary business you want something that
will be more rewarding. If your company pays out 60-70%
that can help you make a decent income fast. If your
company pays out more than 70% then you've found a very
generous pay plan.

3) How big of an organization would it require to earn
$10,000 per month?

This one you can easily figure out by looking over your
compensation plan. This does not mean personal referrals,
but your whole organization. How many people need to be in
your organization in order to make 10,000 dollars each and
every month? The lower the number is generally better
because it could mean less work for more money. You can use
this as a general rule when creating comparisons. However,
you need to take a close look at your product and
membership fee to see if this is true for your company.

4) How quickly and easily can someone start making money
right away?

This will determine if your organization will be able to
keep growing and prevent people from dropping out. Once
people have a taste of money they are likely to get excited
and work harder. If your compensation plan is able to
reward new distributors for their accomplishments right
away by getting them into profit quickly they will continue
to build their organization. However, if they refer members
and get only a small return they will not be encouraged.

Someone has made money in any pay plan. This is because
money can be made in any pay plan if you know how to
effectively build each one. This discussion is not about
that, but the fact that not all pay plans are created
equal. On your search for the right MLM company the pay
plan is a crucial element to your success, because that is
where your money comes from.

I want to highly encourage you to take a close look at your
pay plan from an honest point of view. Is it fair? Is it
rewarding? Or do you need to promote yourself to something
better?

The Best Way To Understand Network Marketing Compensation Plans

Millions of people join MLM and Networking Companies
everyday and do not understand the compensation plans.
There are millions more in networking companies right now
struggling and have no idea that they will never make any
money in the company they are in because the compensation
plan, most likely is impossible for them to have any
success.

My experience, when coaching others in this industry who
are building a good business as I am, ask the same question
about not understanding compensation plans. My question is
would you start a job without knowing how you are paid? Of
course you wouldn't. So why would network marketing be any
different? The thing is we really don't know how to look at
compensation plans and some of them are extremely
complicated. Here is a tip for you to figure out if the
compensation plan for the company that you are either with
or looking at is any good.

First, find out the minimum amount of product that you have
to order every month. Then determine how many people you
would need actively ordering within your entire team, every
month, to make the income that you want. It is that simple.
Let me explain. When you look at the number of people who
actively order your product every month, to make a residual
income of "X" amount of dollars, you can determine if it is
worth your time and money for your efforts.

Let's use ten thousand dollars as a reference point. How
many people do you need to make ten thousand dollars of
true residual income every month? I use ten thousand
dollars because it is a simple value to calculate.
Secondly, if you want to make twenty thousand, multiply by
two, if you want to make five thousand divide by two and if
you want to make a thousand, divide by ten. So ten thousand
dollars is a good way to determine if the compensation plan
for any company is good or not.

The sad thing about this industry though is when you
average out all the compensation plans of different
companies, you start to realize that in order for any
individual in network marketing to make ten thousand
dollars a month, they would have to build a team of about
twenty-five hundred people. That is, to make ten thousand
dollars per month of residual income, a distributor needs
about twenty-five hundred people actively ordering every
month! How is that likely to happen? It's not. This is the
reason most people fail in network marketing.

That is the sad part but here is the good news. Once you
start to look at compensation plans from this perspective,
you start to notice things. Like, if I need a thousand
people to start to make money, this is definitely not a
good opportunity. There are worst companies than that.
Other companies you need two thousand to make ten thousand
a month. I've seen companies where you can make ten
thousand a month with less than four hundred people.

So if you look at it from a part time person's perspective
and there is a company where they need twenty-five hundred
people to make ten thousand dollars, that would mean for a
part time person working one or two hours a night to make
only a thousand dollars of extra income, would have to have
a team of two hundred and fifty people actively ordering.
How likely is that to happen with a part time person? Not
too likely. But if you're in a company where you need less
than four hundred people to make ten thousand a month,
divide that by ten, now it means your part time person can
make a thousand of part time income with less than forty
people. Now that is a lot more doable for your part time
person than two hundred and fifty people.

So the way I look at it is what is your time worth? For
example, you are building a business in network marketing
and you have to build a team of twenty-five hundred people
to make ten thousand a month and, your next door neighbor
is in a company where she needs less than four hundred
people to make ten thousand a month. Well, you're both
putting in the same efforts in building your businesses but
maybe your making about five to ten dollars a hour compared
to your next door neighbor putting in the same amount of
effort, who is making two hundred or greater per hour. I
think your effort is worth two hundred dollars per hour. If
you don't agree, that's ok.

So when you start to look at compensation plans from this
perspective, you can literally determine if it is a good
opportunity or not. I hope this help those who are either
looking to get into network marketing or those who are
already in a network marketing company.

5 Secrets to Selling More Teleclasses with Transcripts

While iPods and other mp3 players have taken the world by
storm, I'm still a visual girl.  For me, that means I'd
much rather read something than listen to it.  If it's a
video of a software or service demo, I might be persuaded
to view that, if I have the time and if I have no other
choice.  For the most part, I'd rather read about it.  I
have tons of audio files stored on my hard drive, to most
of which I've never listened.  They'll probably languish
away on my computer, only to be deleted one day when I've
forgotten why I downloaded them in the first place.

However, the ones I have "listened to" are the ones which
also offered a written PDF transcript.  Okay, so it's
cheating a bit to say that I've "listened" to them, but
those files that came with transcripts got my attention
much more quickly than those without.

I realize that I'm in the minority here.  The audio and
video methods of conveying information online are here to
stay, and the majority of Internet users like and prefer
those methods to reading.  Studies also indicate that when
an online business owner adds audio or video to a site,
traffic and conversion rates increase dramatically.

The written word, however, is far from dead.  I'm
discovering that there are more and more people who prefer
to learn by reading (or maybe we just attract one another).
 If you offer teleclasses or webinars as a part of your
business model, here are 5 reasons you should offer
transcripts with your teleclass recordings:

1.  Multiple Learning Styles.  As previously established,
offering both an auditory version and a written version of
teleclass content appeals to both kind of learners.
Granted, transcribing can be tedious if you're doing it
yourself.  However, most one-hour teleclasses can be
transcribed for about $100 USD. If this investment resulted
in a 30% increase in your conversion rate or download rate,
it would be a worthwhile investment, don't you think?

2.  Printable Format.  Unlike audio files, which require
some type of device to play them, PDF transcripts can be
printed and carried with you.  So, if your portable device
battery dies or if you're in a situation where electronic
devices aren't permitted, you can get the information that
you need from the printed transcript instead.  Call me
hopelessly out-of-date, but I even print out and bind
larger (greater than 100 pages) PDF ebooks if I believe
they are something to which I'll continually refer.  I
still prefer to go to my office bookcase and pick up a
resource rather than search for my copy of the same
resources in my computer files.  I've had my readers tell
me that they regularly print the PDF files they buy from me
and refer to them constantly.  Perhaps your readers will do
the same?

3.  Upsell New Products.  Transcripts, unlike audio files,
offer the opportunity to upsell your reader to new products
or services.  In the transcript, you can add several pages
that serve as a sales letter for a new product, or include
an order form that is similar to one that appears on your
site.  You can easily update the offer in the future by
inserting new pages.

4.  Immediate Gratification. If your reader is viewing the
electronic version of your transcript, she can immediately
click on the hyperlinks you include and see the sites to
which you refer in the teleclass.  The mp3 listener, on the
other hand, may not have Internet access at the time she's
listening to the audio file, and consequently has to write
down the URLs mentioned and then view them when she's back
online.  I've lost more slips of paper in this situation
than I care to remember, which is yet another reason that
having a transcript appeals to my learning style so much.

5. Second Profit Center.  If you're selling the audio of a
teleclass or webinar,  you can offer the transcript as an
add-on to the price of the teleclass for an additional fee.
I constantly see online entrepreneurs offering a teleclass
for $29 and then permitting the buyer to add a PDF
transcript for just $10 more.  This method offers visitors
a choice and appeals to a wider variety of buyers than
offering only one option might.

Teleclasses and webinars are a profitable way to boost your
online business.  Add transcripts to your offerings, and
see your profits increase even more!

distraction as far as possible. At least, tackle your most
difficult tasks during rest-time, or when children are
occupied under supervision.

In essence, it's vital to treat your business with
commitment and determination. Your personal circumstances
will have a significant influence on the success or
otherwise of your home business. Should you be able only to
devote limited time and effort to it, you must expect your
results to reflect this.

It is most unlikely that you will be able to enjoy a
full-time income from a part-time business, at least until
you have been able to develop your business to a stage
where many functions operate "on auto-pilot."  Some highly
successful owners of top home businesses are eventually
able to make huge incomes while working part-time, but this
takes considerable time and skill to achieve.
