Wikipedia's Secret to Google Domination!
Latent Semantic Indexing, or LSI is the hottest trend in
Google today and the secret behind Wikipedia's runaway
success as the top raking site for just about anything you
can imagine on Google.

In short, LSI considers the words around your main keyword
as "hot topics" that add to the credibility of the page. If
I target the term "SEO" I have a much better chance of high
ranking if I use the right words around it.

Of course, finding these words would be near impossible
without a service like Quintura. But with this magic
bullet, it's easier than ever to get on top of Google and
stay there! Here's how...

1.) Visit http://www.Quintura.com

2.) Enter your keyword and click the search button. A
"cloud" shows up on the page with the words you need.

3.) Review all the other words in the cloud but focus on
those bolded. These are good, but it gets better.

4.) Hover your mouse over your original keyword and focus
on the updated words that show up. These will get you over
the top!

Let's revisit that "SEO" example I just talked about...

My first cloud shows the bolded words "marketing, services,
expert, optimization, and "company." These are good, but
they get better.

When hover the mouse hover "SEO" I get "optimization,
search engine, expert, services and company." Even better!

Want a little more punch with a second mention of your
keywords? Try combining a couple into a keyword cluster if
they fit... For my example it might be "search engine
optimization expert" added somewhere near the end of the
page text. That's three keywords in one cluster. Just don't
go too crazy.

The goal is to use these words on your page if they fit
naturally. And if you really want to steal a page right out
of Wikipedia's secret playbook, consider creating a
separate page for each of the "hot topic" words and linking
to and from them within the text of each page. That's how
Wikipedia takes it one step further and wins the top spots
on Google almost every time.

Finally, keep inbound linking in mind. This is huge.
Without quality inbound links, you can have the best site
in the world and Google will ignore it. Continue to build
up your inbound links and be sure to check your ranking at
least weekly. If you decide to go with a product to do the
linking and rank checking for you, I recommend a product

and saves most SEO professionals and do it yourselfers at
least forty hours up front and twenty hours per month, per
site. It's also good at locating those hard to find
"authority sites" so loved by Google.

CAN-SPAM Act Updates -- New Email Rules For Multiple Senders, Opt-Outs, And "Send-To-A-Friend"
Commercial email is one of the most significant -- if not
the most significant -- marketing tool of small ecommerce
websites.

For this reason, it's a good idea to stay current with the
CAN-SPAM Act's email rules. In May, the Federal Trade
Commission (FTC) approved several new rules for purposes of
clarifying CAN-SPAM's requirements.

Here's an easy-to-read summary of these important
developments that affect all ecommerce websites.

Multiple Senders And Email Marketing Campaigns

One issue under CAN-SPAM was whether all parties in a
multi-party email would be required to comply with CAN-SPAM.

Under the new rules, multiple parties participating in a
single commercial email may designate a single party as the
"sender", provided that the designated party:

*  meets the definition of a "sender";

*  is the only party designated in the "from" line; and

*  fully complies with the requirements of the CAN-SPAM Act.

By focusing on the "from" line, the new rule represents a
relatively pragmatic solution that is generally favorable
to most joint, commercial email campaigns. However, one
important trap for the unwary is that if the designated
sender does not comply with CAN-SPAM (i.e. identifying the
email as an ad or solicitation, including a physical or
post office address, and handling opt-outs), all marketers
in the email message will be held liable as senders.

Opt-Out Requirements

The new rules streamlined the opt-out process for
commercial email.  The new rules make it clear that email
marketers can not require opt-outs:

*  to pay a fee for a right to opt-out";

*  to provide personally identifiable information other
than an email address; and

*  to take any steps other than visiting a web page or
sending a reply email.

In addition, sales pitches prior to honoring an opt-out
request are clearly unacceptable.

"Send-To-A-Friend"

"Send-to-a-friend" emails are fairly common, especially
with email newsletters. The FTC made an important
distinction between send-to-a-friend emails where the
marketer merely request the recipient to send to a friend
and those emails where any form of consideration is offered
-- such as money, awards, prizes, coupons, or discounts).

If any form of consideration is offered (the amount is
irrelevant), then the seller who requested the forwarding
of the email must comply with CAN-SPAM requirements. If no
consideration is offered, then the seller need not comply
with CAN-SPAM; however, it's recommended that the seller
comply in any event.

Conclusion

The new rules were the final result of approximately 3
years of consideration of the issues. Many of the
suggestions along the way were more burdensome on
commercial emailers.

However, the prevailing view apparently was that the final
rules provide clear guidance so that the reputable email
marketers would not be unreasonably restricted.

Make An Absolute Fortune Teaching Ecommerce To Local Businesses
I've been marketing goods and services online since
late-1996, and I have never seen a better time to start
your own Internet marketing business.  Current economic
conditions around the world are driving millions to the
Internet looking for additional income and a better
lifestyle.

Sadly, thousands of people coming online every month enter
the WRONG niche. They enter the most challenging niche that
I can imagine. They enter the niche of people earning a
living by teaching people how to earn a living online,
teaching people how to earn a living online.

No, I didn't make a mistake. That's how I'd describe the
"Internet marketing niche" that I'm most familiar with.

business. Those that  have been in business for more than a
few years understand that even during an economic downturn,
they MUST invest in advertising or lose market share.

That's where you can enter the picture, help them, and earn
a nice six-figure income for yourself.

You contact local businesses and explain how to use the
Internet for direct response marketing that's infinitely
more powerful than advertising in the yellow pages or local
newspapers.  You explain to them how to leverage the power
of things that you already understand such as:

- Autoresponders - Building and following up with an email
list - Search engine optimization... especially for
longtail keyword - Testing and tracking - Linking campaigns
- Direct response copywriting

Yes - all of those things that we Internet marketers
consider common knowledge are totally foreign to most local
business owners.

All you really have to do is find a place, schedule a local
workshop, and spend a day or two teaching ecommerce to
local businesses.  Local business owners will see the value
in what you  teach and many of them will want to tap into
it immediately.

Many local business owners will also understand what you
are teaching but also "gloss over" and ask if you can
simply do it for them. At that point, you simply smile and
tell them that your website ecommerce packages cost $3000,
$5000, even $10,000.

Then you simply outsource the work - pocketing 50% or more.

Can it really be that easy?

Yes, that's EXACTLY what I'm doing.

"But, I don't know enough to actually teach a class or
workshop," you argue!

Not a problem - enterprising individuals who have already
blazed this trail will make their material available to
you.  You can find complete seminar packages that include:

- Newspaper ads to run to find outside sales people to sell
the seminar seats for you

- Newspaper ads to run to get attendees

- PowerPoint Presentations for 1 or 2 day seminars
ready-to-use

- Complete scripts to go along with the PowerPoint
Presentations

- Supplement materials to give or sell to attendees

In other words, others who are already doing this will
provide the material for you.  If you're really lazy, you
could just hand the materials to an assistant, and let
him/her run the events for you!

and getting them into your events, my friend David Preston

After reading David's and Rachel's material, I serious
considered getting out of the "Internet marketing niche"
altogether. I'm someone who's built a solid reputation, and
lots of name  recognition in the niche. Yet, when I saw how
serving local "brick and mortal" businesses was so much
easier, the sift made a lot of sense.

Let me close with one example of how easy it is to make
$50k when you use what I've just shared with you.

In most cities, during certain times of the year, you'll
notice civic and fraternal organizations, such as The
Knights of Columbus, or the Kiwanis, holding fundraisers.
All you need to do is get THEM to promote your event, you
teach the workshop, and split the proceeds with them.

If they get 100 local businesses owners to pay $1000 each
for a 2-day workshop, and you split it 50/50 with the
sponsors, you walk away with $50k, plus you'll have 100
business owners wanting you to continue teaching them.

Can it really be that simple?  Yes, you can get an
organization that also has facilities and lots of business
owners as members to sponsor an event for you. They'd
actually prefer doing that to holding dozens of car washes,
or collecting donations on street corners.

Network Marketing Strategies - Prospecting: The Foundation of Success
This is about discovering and using the most important of
all the basic network marketing strategies.

If you know anything about network marketing you know that
the success of your business falls solely on only one
network marketing strategy: Prospecting.

That's what makes network marketing very simple for some
and very hard for others.

Prospecting (definition): searching for potential clients,
customers or candidates!

Q: What kind of people is network marketing extremely hard
for? A: Those people who do not understand the importance
of prospecting, have a very tough time with the business of
network marketing.

Q: What kind of people is network marketing extremely easy
for? A: Those people who do understand and practise the art
of focused prospecting, have a very easy time with network
marketing.

Therefore, if you want to be successful in your network
marketing efforts you have to learn how to prospect, and
how to prospect in the most effective way.

We will look at some of the basics here, but to really be
effective at prospecting you have to have continual and
progressive prospecting training and then put it all into
action!  Yes, practise, practise, and more practise!

Prospecting means going out on a limb for some; and for
others it is a simple act of socialising with potential
team members, and having a short, extremely concise
description of your product or service, and an appropriate
'story' regarding same, and using it without fear or an
attachment to a particular outcome.  Some people will show
interest; and others won't.  It's that simple! Develop a
systematic approach; keep records of the people showing the
slightest sign of interest (develop your listening skills
here) and stay in touch.

N.B. Actually tell them that you will stay in touch; and
lightheartedly let them know that you will be the 'dripping
tap' until they show any signs of disinterest.  That's
being authentic, and showing integrity (and tenacity), and
you will be respected for it.

If you believe in your product or service; show genuine
interest in telling others about it; and systematically
contact your potential team members: you will develop a
strong and repeatable habit of 'knowing', that without
being offensive or an absolute pain in the arse with your
friends and family, will start to work for you.  In turn,
you can then show others how to do the same, and they can
do the same .... and so on.

This is developing a strong and sustainable team or network.

Here is a simple method of putting together two separate
prospecting lists:

Firstly, put together a list of everyone you would invite
to a personal and private party or function.  Then contact
them one at a time to tell them about your new venture.
Don't beat around the bush - be direct and open with
people. Remember: Once you're talking to them, go easy on
family and friends by respecting their right to receive
some information, but back-off the second you detect any
negative reactions to your efforts. Secondly, put together
another list of business associates or sporting team
members, or any organisational contacts you may have, and
then do the same methodical talking to each of them, one at
a time.

Show confidence, rather than arrogance; and remember that
some will show interest, and some won't!  Of those who show
interest, you will encounter a variety of different levels
of research and information required before they will show
commitment; in some cases, a HUGE difference!  We are all
different, and some of us are convinced quickly and will
make decisions accordingly; others won't!  They may even
frustrate you in how much information or convincing they
require; but while there is still interest there is still
hope. Remember that golden rule: "I will be the dripping
tap until there are any signs of disinterest"!   Also
remember this: People who require research and more
convincing aren't necessarily showing signs of disinterest,
and you must learn to know the difference, as this is often
the difference between winning Gold, Silver or Bronze
medals in anything that we do!

Just in case you don't know what the 'dripping tap'
significance is: A dripping tap will eventually wear away
even the hardest of surfaces under the point where the
drips hit the ground (including concrete) and will
eventually create quite a significant hole if left to
continue dripping. People can be the same when put into any
situation requiring follow-up, and if you actually tell the
other person that you will be the dripping tap until told
to be different, you will develop a strong but comfortable
relatonship with them.  That relationship will be based on
respect and openness.

All business is about people: and the relationships with
those people!

How to Make the Most Out of Selling Your Multimedia Information Products on eBay
As we all well know eBay has changed its policies on the
selling of digitally delivered items, not only eBooks but
everything else including the sale of digitally delivered
photos and other similar products. But what does this mean?
Are our eBooks still eBooks?

What does the word eBook make you think? To me it is a
digital product for around $1-$2 which will tell me what I
want to know in a certain niche, for example, how to train
my unruly dog. However, due to the new rules selling these
products will no longer be possible. To continue selling
you must convert all of your digital products into physical
products. This will usually mean putting 3-4 eBooks from
the same niche or about the same subject onto one CD or
DVD, which can be packaged professionally and shipped
around the world. This means your products and your name
are still known and you can continue to hold or even gain
for the first time PowerSeller status.

Because of having to take the time to build these products
I would not place them under the heading 'eBooks', I would
use the term 'Multimedia Information Product' meaning they
aren't expected to sell cheaply and allowing you to charge
the right amount to still make a profit.

Now most people may be wondering how to set out these
products professionally to make the amount of money
expected. Well, think of them as your own website on a CD
you can place all the links and other products you want
without breaking any rules as this is outside of eBay. Also
this provides a massive opportunity to make a profit on the
backend as you can promote any or all of your other
products in the same niche as bonus items on your CD.

Another way to generate a higher income is to send people
to your other products on a thank you page. Imagine this;
you have just purchased your brand new, how to lose weight
in 90 days multimedia package complete with recipes and
also videos showing how to cook the meals. You are
forwarded to a thank you page which reads: 'Thanks for your
purchase. While waiting for your product to be delivered
why not read my free report on losing weight'. They have
already bought from you meaning they believe your products
will be good and now they have the added bonus of a free
report. In this report you can advertise any amount of your
other products. With these new products the chance to up
sell and also create an income on the backend is enormous
which can be a good thing even though your business will
require more work to set-up. Once this is done you may find
yourself having more profit coming into your account each
month.

Just about anyone who has a business on the Internet uses
article marketing as part of their marketing efforts.
Article marketing is when a person writes an article
related to a product or service they're offering in an
attempt to get more people to become their customer.
Unfortunately not many people even know the right way to
write articles.

One of the keys to writing articles is to make sure they
will rank high on the search engines. This is done through
search engine optimization. This means that the article is
written using a keyword or a keyword phrase in the article
so that the article appears when that keyword or keyword
phrase is searched for.

Just about everyone who writes articles knows that the
articles have to be search engine optimized. So this is
followed but the other key for the right way to write
articles is completely overlooked. The other key ingredient
is to make sure the article is well-written, easy to read,
and informative.

Too many people simply write an article as fast as they can
and pump it full of keywords or a keyword phrases and then
throw it up on the Internet. The article is not educational
and has no value to anyone. So people will find the article
but they won't go any further.

So anyone writing an article has to remember there are two
steps that must be taken by any potential customers. First
the person has to find the article and then they have to
read it and find enough value to want to continue to where
the article directs them.

There are many people who write articles but absolutely
 it. Many of these people also have no idea how to write a
good article. Luckily there is a formula they can follow.

The first part of a good article is the title. The title
should include the keyword or keyword phrase and it should
also promise to give a benefit to the reader. For example,
it might promise it will tell them how to save money on gas
or it might promise to tell them how to write an article
the correct way (just as the title of this article does).
One thing to keep in mind is to always give people a list
or a specific number of solutions to a problem. People love
reading these types of articles.

Next an introduction has to be written. This will introduce
the reader to the topic and should include a "hook" -
something that will keep the people reading.

Then in the body of the article, you should give them the
benefit that was promised in the title. Make sure you give
them what was promised. If you promised "4 Ways to Save
Money on Gas" then you better give them 4 ways to save
money on gas. If not, they'll get disgusted and simply
click-out of your article.

Finally, in the conclusion you should just sum-up what the
entire article was about. Some people like to make the
conclusion a mirror image of the introduction.

Many people write articles and post them on the Internet
but not many people actually know the right way to write
articles. A good article needs to be optimized for search
engines and it also needs to be well-written so that the
article leads the reader to where you want them to go.

The advantages of having a data entry job
The first and most obvious advantage of the job is that you
can do it from home. Of course there are data entry
positions where you have to go to the office, but one can
find data entry jobs that can be done from home. These jobs
are usually project based and will most probably have a set
date to be complete. Apart from the deadline you can pretty
much do your job when you want as long as you get it done
in time. This brings one to the next advantages of a work
at home position which is working when you want or can and
even better not having a dress code. If you have to go to
work in an office you most probably have to wear a suit or
follow a certain dress code. With a work at home position
you can wear whatever you want.

Another advantage worth mentioning is that you are reducing
auxiliary costs like gas or transportation money and even
lunch money. This does not mean that if you are working at
home you are not eating, but when you eat at home you can
save some of the money you would be otherwise spending on
lunches with colleagues. Also considered an advantage for
this job is the fact that since you can make your own
schedule you can have more time to spend with your family
and here you are winning twice. Firstly if you work in an
office you most probably have to leave home at least an
hour before your job starts and this just to make sure you
get there in time. thus if you are working eight hours a
day you will be gone from work at least 10 hours and maybe
even more if you hit traffic. Secondly if you do not have a

longer break or even a nap. One of the most important

advantage in this job. Since you are working on a project
basis or similar, the faster you work and the more you

You work hard at your job doing a wonderful task --
educating the future of our country and world.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if teachers were compensated like
star athletes?  After all, what is more important?
Teaching children or playing basketball in front of 20,000
people.  There certainly might be more entertainment value
in the basketball game but the real importance lies in the
classroom.

Do you know any teachers who would like to be independently
financially secure?  What if a teacher could teach because
he or she loved teaching, not in order to get a paycheck?
Think about the freedom it would give to be able to know
that all of your monthly bills were paid for every month,
whether you received your teaching paycheck or not.
Imagine not having to worry about whether the School Board
approved another pay raise or not.

Unfortunately, our financial educations are not as
developed as they might be.   Most of us go get a job to
work for many, many years and save money so that we will be
able to live on that money after we stop working.  Very few
of us though start saving a hundred dollars a month while
still in high school and increase it slightly as time went
on so that by 45, there was enough saved to actually live
on without having to work for a paycheck.

in the savings account to take out that much money, just
taking the interest earned.  That money would have to be
accumulated in savings after you had paid your house note,
your car note, utilities, insurance, and all of your other
monthly expenses.  That necessity is a rather daunting
requirement while still trying to enjoy life.

Worse, salary income only comes from trading hours for
dollars.  If one cannot work, the income stops.  You are at
risk every day when you drive a car or do any of the many
life activities that we do every day.  While there is
insurance for disability, it does not provide the same
level of security that a second stream of income would
provide.

The potential is there to create a second income stream,
particularly with the talent that teachers have – how to
teach.  The key to that income is learning a system and
then being able to teach others how to follow the system
and teach others to do the same.

How Wikipedia Dominates Google Rankings and You Can Too; LSI
Have you ever noticed that Wikipedia ranks in the top three
spots on Google for just about anything you search for? It
seems almost impossible that any one site can dominate
search engine rankings for tens of thousands of topics. In
fact, it goes against the logic a lot of SEO experts preach.

Do they use special SEO tools or software? Not at all. So
how does Wikipedia beat the odds on Google every time? It's
easy... They use a concept called Latent Semantic Indexing,
or LSI for short.

The complex theories behind LSI don't matter to us. All we
need to know is LSI considers other, somewhat related,
words on your page when ranking. These are words that have
been sampled from "authority sites" and set aside in a
database that Google references when it decides how to rank
your page.

Trying to imagine what words are the best neighbors for any
given keyword might be near impossible if not for a site
called Quintura.

Quitura is a free service that shows you all the best
latent semantic indexing "hot topic" words. It's very easy
to use.

1.) Go to http://www.Quintura.com

2.) Type in any keyword and click the search button. A
"cloud" appears on the left side of the page.

3.) Look at all the words around your keyword in the cloud.
These are all good but the ones in bold are most important.

4.) Now hover your mouse over your main keyword in the
cloud and watch the cloud change. These are the words you
really want to ensure make it onto your page.

I'll use "SEO" as an example. In my initial cloud I see
bolded words, deemed most important such as "marketing,
services, optimization, expert, and "company." These make
sense but could be refined.

To refine the list I let the mouse hover over "SEO" and I
get "optimization, expert, search engine, company, and
services." This is better for the context of my page and
will even help lead me into writing more complete copy
(page text.)

That is how you use LSI to advantage. But the following
insider tips will show you how to take on the big guys like
Wikipedia and Wall Street Journal Online.

LSI; Insider SEO Tip 1: Try to use the "hot topic" words in
a similar manner as expressed in the cloud. In other words,
if "optimization" and "expert" show up before or above
"SEO" try to use them before the second mention of "SEO"
(the first mention of "SEO" should be in the first few
words of your opening paragraph if possible.)

LSI; Insider SEO Tip 2: You can also combine several hot
topic words as a second mention. If we add, "search engine
optimization expert" somewhere toward the end of the page
text, we have combined three important hot topic phrases.
Just don't overdo it!

LSI; Insider SEO Tip 3: This one is right out of the
Wikipedia playbook. Create a separate page for each of the
hot topic words and link to and from them internally,
within your page text. So in our "SEO" example, we would
also have pages focused on "search engine" and
"optimization." If you've ever been to Wikipedia you'll
understand the beauty of this little gem.

Bonus Insider SEO Tip: Build inbound links and check your
ranking regularly. Normally this would be split into two
tips but there is software than can do this for you like a
pro and in record time. I use a product called SEO Elite
(http://www.SEOeliteWeb.com) because it gets the best
results of any I've used and does both link building and
rank checking. It also finds those elusive "authority
sites" that Google loves so much.

So there it is, LSI in a nutshell. With Google
incorporating more and more latent semantic indexing
strategies all the time, the timing to use this could not
